Sashiko Denim Workshop

  • Fiber Circle Studio 113 Kentucky Street Petaluma, CA, 94952 United States (map)

In this workshop we will explore sashiko, a striking Japanese hand-sewing technique. Traditionally used to mend textiles, sashiko can just as easily be used to embellish clothing and fabrics around the home. Requiring no special equipment other than a sewing needle and thread, it is a centuries-old embroidery technique that not only strengthens but intricately adorns fabric, bringing it new life.

When: Saturday, May 25 (12pm-3pm)

- Workshops are intended for adults; youth 13 and up are also welcome with an adult

Location: Fiber Circle Studio, 113 Kentucky St, Petaluma, CA
