The Japanese artist renowned for immense, intricate webs of thread makes her Bay Area debut on April 2, 2026. Throughout the Spring and Summer, I’m delighted to announce that I will be partnering with the Asian Art Museum to bring programming to the public alongside Chiharu Shiota’s exhibition.

Programming will include fiber art workshops (some open to the public and some for members of the museum):

April 2: Opening Night - Photo Embroidery (on paper) TICKETS

June 27: Sashiko Mending

June 28: Sashiko Tote Bags
