Welcome to My Panda Party
If you’re receiving this email, it’s because you’ve come to one of my embroidery workshops, you are one of my customers, or you’re one of the special few who’ve signed up for my brand-new newsletter! Thank you and welcome!
This is the first email and trust me, this does not come naturally to me! I’m usually very shy. So why am I here??
This year, I’d like to connect without relying solely on Instagram. Don’t worry, I’m not quitting, but I also don’t want us to be trapped there forever!
Also, this is not a marketing email. I don’t want to sell you anything. My plan is to send you a lovely, whimsical letter, like a little Care Package from a friend, about once a quarter, so you can expect to hear from me in this way about 4 times a year.
I deeply disdain the mountain of emails we all get, and if you already feel like this will be too much, please unsubscribe right away, no hard feelings. When my name pops up in your inbox, I hope it sparks joy! I hope you to say, “Oh it’s that panda lady! I wonder what she’s up to?”
I’m going to keep an archive of the newsletters here, so if you ever need to clean out your inbox, go right ahead!
For especially those who have taken my embroidery classes, we spend a few hours together, deep in focus on our work, but also sharing lots about ourselves. Some of you have heard me talk about why I care deeply about the hand-made arts, while others have heard my extensive thoughts on the Fast & Furious franchise. You’ve shared stories about your families, your work, your pets, and sometimes you share that you’ve lost someone. And then we go back out into the vast wide world again.
I guess what I’m saying is, I’m such a fan of all of you, and I’d like to stay friends, even though I get very shy, and it takes me a year to work up the courage to write this email!
So, welcome to my newsletter; I’ll be sharing my first “Care Package” soon, so keep an eye out for the Panda in your inbox!
Take care panda bears,
Amanda “Panda” Farrell
