Send me your vintage Lolas! Lola is a term of endearment that we call our grandma’s in the Philippines. All our ancestors were young once, and you probably have some old photos of yours in an album. Give them new life as embroidery hoop art - and don’t worry, you don’t have to be Filipino to place your order!

E-mail me the absolute highest resolution version of your photo, digitally scanned for the best results. A photo of a photo will lower the quality, and the transfer process to fabric will lower it a little more, so starting with the best quality photo gives me a good starting place!

If you have any ideas for the background or embellishments (meaningful elements you’d like included), let me know in your e-mail. I will do a bit of interpreting based on the composition of the photo, the pose of the subject, and how close-up the portrait is.
